Do not being anyone to this ER. Go anywhere else. My 92 year old mother arrived in the ER unable to breathe. She was in a wheelchair. She waited for 8 hours to be seen. They would not bring her anything to eat or drink. She had no way to get help to go to the restroom. I live out of state so she was there alone. Unbelievable.
Went to the ER yesterday morning with a broken ankle after slipping on some ice. Every single nurse/tech/EVS/doctor that I came in contact with was SO kind and attentive. Even though they were clearly slammed and filled to the brim I felt very cared for.
They did very good even though there were lots of people. try to remember when you go in that they cannot control the amount of emergencies that come in
I went to the emergency room after my heart rate reached 178 BPM and I started sweating excessively. It had gone down over the last 3 hours but it was still above 120. They gave me fluids and it dropped down just under 100. And they released me with the diagnosis of syncope- fainting. That makes no sense at all because I never experienced fainting or felt like I was going to faint.
