I went to the Emergency Department last week, with longstanding, painful intestinal problems. I know its not curable but having endless debilitating issues, I decided I'd had enough and probably needed antibiotics again. Not being able to get an appointment with my usual doctor, I decided to head to the hospital. In the past its been great. Long wait but end result was good. This time it was tragic. Today (March 20) I attended the Emergency Department for the first time in may years.The difference in the staff is amazing! No one was ignoring potential patients standing at the front desk. No reprimand from a Triage nurse about why I didn't first see my doctor. As it happened, and in the meantime, I managed to access a Telehealth doctor for a script. Nevertheless, I especially want to complement the Administrator on how he managed the department and also how he took special care with the elderly people there. So good to s... read more
No problems they do a great job I reckon under trying conditions at the moment cos of the building extensions that are happening
I had the misfortune of requiring the ED at Broken Hill Hospital. Wow, what a treat, I can not speak highly enough of all the staff. Their care and concern was impeccable. A big Thank you to all concerned
