I just wanted to share my experience when I called the office to let them know that the patient would be a few minutes late. The person who answered the phone questioned why I was calling instead of the patient. I was simply being courteous and calling to advise that the patient would be no more than 10 minutes late. She then proceeded to ask how far away they were, which I was not in a position to know exactly. I believe the interaction could have been handled more professionally. It feels so good at my age, actually at any age, to have a trusted Doctor who is there for you whenever you need them.
