Completely Satisfied I bring all my dogs here and am completely satisfied with them. We recently had one of our dog pass away and the are very compassionate. We received a sympathy card from them also.
Not for small animals I used to take all of my pets to this Clinic and have since stopped. I believe they are knowledgeable when it comes to common pets, such as cats and dogs, but lack any real concern for smaller ones like rabbits. I think their recommendation for me everytime has been to put my pet down. I like that they are cost-considerate, but that sometimes comes off as being uncaring.
Excellent Practice! BVC is a wonderful veterinary clinic. My fur babies have received excellent care from Dr. Seeley and all others on staff. They are prompt and efficient and do not waste time. I appreciate knowing that we will be seen at our scheduled appointment time. The BVC staff are realists. They love animals and give them 100% care but understand that most caregivers are not able to afford advanced care. They will provide all options without sugar-coating. The doc is great, but his staff needs cust service training Dr. Seeley is great and SOME of his staff is friendly, but not all. He has taken great care of my pets. I had to make an appt to put down my cat and the receptionist over the phone was just rude and a bit belligerent. I explained to her that I was calling to make an appt and I needed to know the price options and when I inquired why euthanasia was $100 for a small cat, she got even more rude. Wouldn't take my pets anywhere else! I have been taking my pets here for years and always love the friendly staff and wonderful doctors. My pets are always treated like one of there own. Prices are right and you can't get better service.
BVC is a great vet We have been going to Brodheadsville Vet Clinic for nearly 8 years. They are not perfect but Dr. Seely is a very good vet and a nice guy. It is true that he is not very personable but who can blame him? Many pet owners feed their dogs junk like Pedigree, Beneful or Purina Dog Chow. They fail to exercise or train their dogs. ok for most, I'm just too picky ;-) Conviently located in an old historic building on Route 209, this is the closest practice to my home, so I gave them a try with a routine visit. Staff was friendly enough but the owner of the practice? He was not at all personable and I was totally less than impressed with his knowledge of my breed and a specific medial condition (exocrine pancreatic insuffiency...not *that* uncommon in canines). Brodheadsville Vet Clinic I have been taking my pets here for many years. The staff has always been helpful and compassionate. Dr. Britt Seeley is very knowledgeable and will explain things thoroughly. If he is not able to help, he will direct you to someone who can. It is unfortunate that they are not open week-ends for emergency situations. I really dislike having to go elsewhere.
Reasonably priced and they took such great care of my high anxiety husky! They were patient and knew what they were doing! Very pleased!
