Absolutely terrible ER. I've been here since 11am and counting. The room has cycled out all the patients that were here previously (aside from one other) and even new walk-ins. The gentleman beside me with an axe wound on his leg has been here nearly as long as me. I understand short staff and higher priority, but this is still ridiculous. The young woman who's mother bullied her way in for her daughter's failed self ear piercing is apparently higher priority than any other large wounds.

They are efficient at treating you and your condition or illnesses. They're incredibly overworked, as you would expect of a rural hospital. Do not expect a lot of empathy from the doctors. The nurses and other staff are great, however.

The check is running really smooth, and the time for appointments is either on time or within minutes of your appointment on both occasions that I took my partner. I also have to mention that the communication from the hospital departments have been timely for any changes to your appointment. In our case it was day surgery. That you to the nurses, doctors and volunteers that added to a very positive experience.

It was a long wait in the emergency department but they had a very intense emergency. We made some nice friends waiting and the nurses kept checking on us. All was good.
