It was a long wait in the emergency department but they had a very intense emergency. We made some nice friends waiting and the nurses kept checking on us. All was good.
Good parking great staff, nurses and doctors are very caring.
Today I accidentally poisoned myself. Won’t bore you with how but it was fairly serious. Fortunately I’m staying around the corner from Brockville General in Ontario, so I walked while I still could, vomitting several times on my way. There’s probably not enough signage to Emergency outside because I had a bit of trouble finding the right door in. Triage took my details and put me straight into a bed with ECG & blood work. Go in with a knee injury wait an hour and a half in an empty emergency room no X-ray no idea of how long it will take just utterly ridiculous and I think the staff are just trying to prove a point. I’ve never had issues here before but this is crazy. Our health care system needs to have a major overhaul.
