The new part of the hospital is beautiful. The outdoor garden patios on each floor are a sanctuary of peace and calm. The staff in palliative care were incredible. Compassionate and friendly.
I emailed the Foundation. Two days later I called and left a message. No reply. I think the new beds are a great idea. My Dad recently died and he was in a state of the art new bed for his final days. I think it would be a great idea here in Brockville. My dollars would not have been great but every bit helps. If someone is asleep at the Foundation then it is time for somebody reading this to go and wake them up. My long term donation will go elsewhere.
