I will never recommend this place. They are absolutely awful. My grandma was there for three years. & DSS found them guilty of negligence about 3 weeks ago.
I want to know just what is going on in there since we can't come in that has staff trying to illegally take residents personal cell phones. is it because a resident called DHHS to file a complaint? The only reason you don't want them to have cell phones is if you are guilty of something really bad. I think the state might need to visit unannounced.
You guys might actually be a decent place if your employees weren't getting paid to sit outside all day smoking and were taking care of residents like they should.
The facility seemed to operate on a professional level upon my arrival to admit my sister. I had read the negative reviews about the facility but chose to give it a chance. I would not recommend the facility to anyone unless it was an emergency or desperate for a place. My sister has been hospitalized numerous times in the past 6 months and pretty much gets around in a wheelchair. Today when I returned her back to the facility after being hospitalized a few days, her wheelchair was gone from her room and nowhere to be found.... read more
