Theatrical, commercial & masquerade costumes, sales & rentals. Broadway Costumes Inc was originally established in Chicago in 1886 as Fritz Schoultz & Company. Fritz Schoultz, a young German immigrant, had been a producer of operas and operettas. He had made several trips back to Europe to purchase costumes from leading opera companies. This collection was augmented by his wife & local seamstresses & tailors. The Fritz Schoultz Collection soon featured a large number of quality costumes.

A Joy to Work With Excellent customer service -- friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I have rented costumes for three high school musicals, and the quality, preciseness and appropriateness of their costumes are of a very high standard. Great costumes at a fair price.
Not the best I have used Broadway Costumes in the past to order costumes for high school musicals. They have very attentive customer service, however, you have little choice in the pieces they send you. Also, I inspected all of the costumes prior to returning them, and they charged us for returning pants with holes burned into the knees that were not there when I shipped them back. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of choices for costume rentals in the area that are affordable for high school productions.
