The old man at the front desk speaks Chinese well, and the apartment is economical~The geographical location is very good.But it‘s not soundproof.
Highly disappointed. Nothing like the photos online. It is right beside the main road and the windows and walls are paper thin. At night we could the pedestrian crossing beeping all night long. It was dirty rooms. The bathroom had the toilet roll holder coming out of the wall. The shower door was broken and had a curtain hung up. Couldn't use the pool at frist cos they had maintenance (why plan that in school hoildays time) and when it was open you had to get a key from reception which was only open till 4 or 5. "Good value for money! Perfect for budget travellers, with clean rooms, a helpful staff, and a fully stocked kitchen. It's close to some stunning viewpoints, too. Just a heads-up: they do charge a deposit at check-in as mentioned in the booking."
Superb location, walk to the Broadwater day or night, if you want GC shopping a few km to Australia Fair Southport, just a walk away is pelican feeding at lunch time, great place to relax & unwind, or not!
