I feel that I wasn’t treated the East Coast way! The website showed rooms, tried to book. 72hours and no response. Called and never returned my call.
The view and location perfect as well as the cottage being clean were appreciated. We enjoy coffee in the morning and it would have been nice to have coffee filters for the coffee pot. Not to much in the way of interior decor and those little extra touches that make a stay outstanding were missing. A few bottles of water would show thoughtfulness.
Amazing place! John was a gracious host and this was one of the best places we stayed during our 2 week trip to the Maritimes. I wish we had more time as this is a great place from which to explore Cape Breton. Baddeck is a great little town as well. Highly recommended!
Great little deck off our room. Worked well for us to trot down to Eskasoni and then around to Sydney for whale watching in the evening, then Bell Museum on the way out.
