This has always been a favorite place to eat. from the time they opened many years ago. James and I had most of our date nights or Sunday lunches here before we were married 25 yrs ago. Great prices when you are on a budget especially the pistolettes. This is a must stop every time we are in Lake Charles. We even had the pistolettes at our wedding .. Thanks for the great food and service and wonderful memories....

First time trying this place. Hubby had gumbo. He said was awesome. .we both had shrimp and I tried alligator for the forest time. ..it was actually really good. .
First time to ever eat here. The service was excellent. The waitress behind the counter taking our order was very helpful and very friendly. Just too many items to choose from. I had gumbo and shrimp etufee. Both were excellent. When we left we just had to take a piece of 3 different cakes with us for later. I highly recommend this establishment for any Cajun food lover.
Huge portions of food. Excellent service. Awesome place to eat.
