This used to be a great place, doing great things for animals in need. The owner had one of the largest hearts I had ever seen, from the way she tried to help not only the animals but the people she met daily. I would have highly recommend visiting when possible, if Mary Ann Tobin was still living, However, she is no longer with us, and many of her animals have since been removed. I noticed a lot of the negative reviews were about lack of follow up, the animal dying, not getting a tour of the facility, volunteers not being able to pick up, and other issues. Clearly the people who left those reviews don’t know how hectic wildlife rehab is. If my options are to: feed and clean after animals or call someone back about their animal (which was one of 50 of that species, difficult to track at times), I’m going to feed and clean after animals. This place is fantastic! We found a fledgling who was in really bad shape and they took him in no questions asked. They knew instantly what was wrong and jumped into help.
