Those looking for a mellow float, multi day camping or whitewater. Groups welcome. My friend and I were the only people on the river on an August Monday. BRO staff was helpful and not overbearing. Very chill. Not unattractive, I must say. We were here last in 1990. We won’t wait another 35 years next time!
River was low and slow. Spent the day stuck on shoals and rocks
We love both parts of the river. We took our dog this last trip, and she did great!
