Ordered the digital version and couldn’t get it to load, called in to cancel, said my credit would be issued in 3 days and still nothing after 2 weeks. Used the free trial because the digital one didn’t work, canceled it but of course they billed me anyways. I’ve emailed them several times. Called and left messages but no reply. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Hands down the worst navs system I’ve used, and I’ve tried almost everything available to the Canadian public. Crashed/failed multiple times both on grid and off, maps themselves are several years old and badly outdated in terms of fire boundaries, river courses etc. I was charged twice per month for the same Pro subscription which took ages and many emails to rectify. Honestly can’t think of anything positive to say about this app, it’s absolutely terrible.
Cannot delete my account or cancel my subscription this is an absolute crap app and if you buy into it your not to smart they bombard you with adds and you have no control over unsubscribing I can’t believe this its totally insane
This is the ultimate app for hard core fishing people. In remote northern Ontario data coverage disappears quite quickly so I have full confidence running this app to navigate me to my lakes offline. It shows me where I am, how far to go and allows me to bookmark my off grid parking spots. Can even record my trip if feeling especially directionally challenged and want to go back to that particular spot. A great product I am now using my 5th version of Backroads Ontario GPS .I have used the GPS maps both on my handheld and windows based computer . I do have a beef though the downloadable version especially is very difficult to download . Asking for technical support will only get you a manual online which I am not able to figure out . This last version I just took it into a very good computer support store with all the information and he struggled for a couple hours plus as well costing me 180$ Please simplify your process .... read more
