I bought the sim card version but it didn't work for my tread 2 overlander. I tried to get it sorted out via customer service but after 7-8 emails, the agent stopped responding to me and I have never heard from them again. Thankfully I have a garmin outdoor maps sub as well so I really don't need the backroad maps anyway.
While I can only speak on the Newfoundland BRMB I have purchased, I can honestly say it is quite a detailed catalog. I mainly plan for hikes using the BRMB in tandem with Garmin BaseCamp. I have found that I am getting the most out of my hikes with this combination. Planning for them in the comfort of my own home is equally as fun and engaging as making the trek. Excellent stock and great service. So far, I used the back roads download around the nahatlatch area and google maps was more up to date than the download.
