Dr. Smith delivered my baby via c-section and I was so surprised at how easy my recovery was. She is such a skilled and knowledgeable provider. Baby was breech, we opted for a last minute ECV, and eventually moved on to a planned c-section. I felt like my decisions were supported and informed at every step of the way. She takes her time to make sure you feel comfortable and understand what is happening during any procedure. I turned in my file to be transferred to this clinic since it is the closest one to me and I waited the two weeks for them to “go through my file and approve it” and on the two week mark I go into the clinic and ask about it and they tell me that they do not have any record of my file but will have a supervisor call me to follow up. Supervisor calls me and says “we have no record and if you turn in your paperwork again there wouldn’t be enough time to get you approved before you deliver”. HORRIBLE SERVICE. If I could rate her lesser I would. I can work with a doctor lacking bedside manners if they otherwise do a good job, but this doctor is terrible to work with, in my opinion. She is inconsiderate and doesn’t like answering questions. I asked her questions regarding labor and delivery and being a first time mom just a good explanation goes a long way with me, which is definitely not asking for much - she told me to go to medical school if I want my questions answered.
