My mother has been at this place for now 2 days . It’s Horrible have to get her removed immediately. They do not care about the patients on the assistant living side ….Marcus never responds ( which is the main contact ) my mother is diabetic the nurse stated they can’t give her insulin until she receives a doctor order . Brittany house was recommended by the hospital and they were wonderful to work with. The staff was extremely responsive and took care of everything we needed quickly. The caregiver was wonderful as well, very respectful and caring. The care she provided to our loved one, who needed full assistance with all daily living skills was amazing! And her interactions with the entire family were very friendly.
We had avoided the elephant in the room for as long as we could as no one feels like dealing with putting a loved one in care. Dealing with other homes first made things even worst as super aggressive sales people in these huge corporate houses just wanted to sign you up, imagine a slimy car salesperson except you have a lot more on the line then your transportation. I cant thank the team at Brittany House enough. They’ve been so kind and supportive, not just to my grandmother but to our family. It’s a tough transition, but they really made it easier. Every time I visit, I leave feeling good about where my Nana is and the care that she is receiving.
