Avoid, Boycott Nine Eagles Dentistry! I have been going to Nine Eagles for nearly 3 years now and have been duped into getting what I consider to be non-urgent or needed procedures (including removal of 2 wisdom teeth that had been fine for over 40 years). Smile Today Dentistry – Palm Bay, FL This is a warning. Last January I had two deep gum cleanings (split by insurance). I paid $564 for one and $712 the following week. In April I returned and paid another $336. After that, the office scheduled me for a routine cleaning and told me it was covered. The day of the appointment, I was told my balance was $0. Dr. Richmond set an appointment for me to return for another checkup and cleaning and to fill the gum lines on my teeth. These lines were left by the recession of my gums, a natural part of the ageing process. Weeks before I returned for my appointment I called his office and left word I did not want the filling(s) as I had no cavities. Do not use this dental provider. I sent 2 of my kids here after relocating to IN. Both have always had regular dental care every 6 months. Strangely both kids had 9 cavities on their first visit to Farabee Dental. Not sure how you develop 9 cavities in 6 months when there were no signs in prior visits. Additionally, when I booked the appointment, I advised not to do any procedures that weren't covered by insurance. They did it anyway. Nightmare! Dog on the counter. Made me wait weeks for appointment when I had an infection and in pain. Then pushed appointments out. Took 4 months to finish a bridge. When I asked Dr. for antibiotic to help with infection. I was told no, thats just a band aid. The assistant (Kim) had no mask and coughed all over the place. She dragged the xray equipment across my forehead twice. The last time I left they told me my portion was $198. (I have Insurance) When I asked why, I paid $3100 in July...they could not tell me why. Dr. Kit and his staff are outstanding. I actually interviewed 3 different dental offices for implants and they ruled 100%. I am so glad I talked with Dr. Kit and staff.....they treated me like family and I couldn't be one bit more grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and knowledge of what was best for me.
