Amateur hour at Brittain Resorts management company in Pawleys Island. Tried to stay in a vacation rental and not only did they leave all of my personal information exposed all night on the front porch for anyone to grab, but anyone could have seen the information including the house code to enter. Very unsafe ! It didn’t get any better once we got to the house. 52 degrees upon entering, no house instructions so couldn’t connect to WIFI. ********WOMEN BEWARE****** This review is to help keep others safe. I stayed at a Brittain Resort and this was my experience **Update** The head of security finally reviewed the footage from this incident 4 days later and advised that someone checked in and did not speak English so they were escorted to their room. They are claiming that it was another guest that came into my room at 3am. I came down here for a visit now.I'm making this my home.I simply love you
Please make sure you review their cancellation policies carefully! NO full refunds given no matter how far out you might have to cancel. They don’t seem to care that ‘life’ can happen. Definitely learned my lesson and will never book a stay with them.
