The facility is not nice. The teachers are usually great, but they spend too much time on administrative aspects (giving feedback re: student progression) during the class, which wastes valuable pool time.
I’ve been to a few British Swim School locations because of employee turnover and have been fortunate to find Lily and Gail at the Portero location. They’re super patient and kind to my daughter, Samantha, who’s quiet and shy to new people. She’s still in Shark 1 but I can see the immediate change in her skill level after we switched over from the San Mateo location. Thank you Lily and Gail!
