The 2 stars are for the instructors, which are great but the management is horrible. Classes have frequently been canceled with no notification and rescheduling a make up is difficult with few/no slots available for weekend classes that work for working families. When my child was advanced to the next level, there were no slots available so was placed on the waitlist. The swim instructor was actually excellent, and my daughter loved the classes, but BSS management was a nightmare. Classes were canceled more often than not (we only had three of the first seven classes), the makeup policy was extremely unfriendly, BSS kept charging my credit card for additional classes, and it was difficult to get them to return my phone calls. Website will not allow interaction without a CC #. Gender of children under 24 months is requested, why? Phone number does not work. "Family name" is presumed. Gender of person enrolling child is presumed to be "mother". I just lost 10 minutes of my life for nothing.
High turnover in instructors. Though most are good.
