Food very overrated and bland but the place itself is awesome
I took 15 colleagues from France, Germany and the UK to the Lido restaurant for a work event. The food was really excellent with delicious sharing plates, scallops, monkfish, meatballs and various salads. The service was unfussy and unobtrusive while being friendly and attentive. Had a lovely stay at the Townhouse and had access to the Lido which was a real treat! Pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub were lovely to relax and enjoy with the last bit of sunshine before autumn arrives. Pool side bar and restaurant was lovely. Pool open till 10pm so meant we could have a late evening swim after some dinner.
Lovely to find something so unique in an almost residential area of Bristol city. Great food, service and atmosphere,will definitely be back.
