The entire set up is an inconvenience. You have to sign in at the lap top then wait to be called to the window. There’s no signs that scream you are in the right area just staff behind the window annoyed that they have to tell you what to do while checking in patients. I can’t tell you how many times there’s been a break in communication letting the department know I was there for blood work, or xray or mRI etc . My 3rd trip, MRIs, Xrays. Friendly, fast. It is emergencies 1st then scheduled procedures.
Waited a least two hours for an X-ray. The woman that checked me in prepared me that it would be a while. So I waited and waited. COME TO FIND OUT THEY FORGOT ABOUT ME. I went there because I was involved in a car accident and was sent by my doctor. Sat there in pain, with a concussion. Not immediately resolving the issue and making me wait longer. Unbelievable and extremely rude. The old system was more efficient and you were treated like a person not a number.
