Our experience with Bristol Hospice in Clackamas, Oregon was outstanding! We brought my 100yo Mother home from a care facility. She had severe dementia and was bedridden due to a hip fracture. I was exceedingly nervous about this transition. The charge RN, the LPN, the chaplain and the CRNA were delightful people that we liked very much. Bristol totally failed us on the night my wife passed away. During her illness her primary nurse was quite good, supportive and informative. The other nurses who came occasionally were mediocre. We were told several times that when my wife passed to call Bristol and they would take care of everything. On the evening my wife passed we waited 4 hours for Bristol to send a nurse. Bristol Hospice was kind and understanding of my needs for my mother. They gave me updates of how she was doing. Called to let me know that she was getting close to the end so I can be there with her before her passing.
