Notified on a Friday afternoon that they were ceasing business and advised to pick up my car as soon as possible. No warning given by owner who left it to his employees to deal with the fallout. Incredibly distressing to a number of car owners on a Friday afternoon. My car recovered ok, but some items lost. Storage and management of parts across the business over the last few years was incredibly poor, and it is disappointing that some of my highly original one off items need to be replaced/manufactured at my own cost. Really pleased with the great work Dave did on my VW type 3, solved a design problem and fabricated a solution which will last a lifetime.
Martin and his team turned a barn find E Type I bought at auction into a car that was better than new. The upholstery work and paint job was simply incredible. They had the car for months charging me each month with a brilliant and easy to understand breakdown of the costs. I ended up with a car worth a multiple of what I paid for it. Not that I plan on selling it any time soon. Thanks all. I’ll be bringing the next project to you.
