You never rushes through the appointment. Very caring and never judging you. She's very good doctor.
Dr Briscoe is a very competent neurologist. She listens and runs tests as required in timely fashion. I do recommend her to friends.
I was fortunate to have Dr. Briscoe do a consult when I ended up in the ER @ the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Nothing was showing up in my xray, I was about to be sent home even though I had limited sensation in my lower body and I said you can’t send me home like this in desperation. They called for the consult and Dr. Briscoe recognized there could be something else … there was. She did extensive testing, made a diagnosis and referred me to a specialty clinic. I am now receiving treatment. I am so grateful for her
Dr. Briscoe has been seeing my 87 yrs old father who speaks very little English. She spent time doing a complete post-stroke examination very carefully, patiently and thoroughly. She called us to inform of MRI results and discussed treatment options. She let us decide and choose our preference and gave her professional medical advice when consulted. We are happy with Dr. Briscoe and have much respect for her.
I have been suffering for years with pain, dr. Briscoe came in to do tests. She didn't ask me any questions, brushed off any questions i had and left the room within 10 mins of seeing me. I have now been to a specialist in the United states and they asked so many questions and were curious why canada neurologist didn't ask the same questions or request different testing..... I have interacted w other Dr's in canada since and they all have the same attitude. They. Don't. Care.
