Truthfully I thought it was done when the turbo hose split and power fell off hard. Call went through first try, they gave me about an hour and hit it close. Tech clamped a new hose, checked the others, tightened everything. He had me roll it a minute to be sure. Pulls normal now. Paid plenty, still better than sitting all day.
Juggling calls from dispatch while sitting with a dead alternator was a nightmare. Truck wouldn’t charge, lights fading. I thought it’d take a tow. They made it in just about an hour, replaced alternator and belt, tested charging. Bill was straight, no surprises. I left thinking it could’ve been a whole lot worse.
