The difference between Brisbane HiFi and its competitors is simple - Awesome customer Service! I’ve been buying Hi-Fi equipment around the city for years and it’s the same old story…nobody wants to know you unless you’re spending 10k+ or they only have the most expensive equipment to demonstrate. I bought a Rega Planar 1 turntable from Brisbane Hifi and was notified shortly thereafter the item was oos and would be brought in from the supplier and shipped at that time and was immediately offered some recompense for the slight delay which was declined due to not being necessary. As it turned out the turntable arrived and Brisbane HiFi offered to send it out for delivery with a tech who was in the vicinity which saved time using couriers for delivery. Update: I have been offered a full refund of the amplifier and speaker cables, I will update the review when the refund is received. I unfortunately have had a bad experience with this company. I purchased a $15,000 system 8 weeks ago which arrived about a week ago. Since then I have sent 3 emails to them about issues of varying concern and have received absolutely no response, not even a confirmation that the email has been received.
