I saw a couple of therapists before seeing Paula. What I can say is that when talking to her, I felt her to be genuine, knowledgeable and eager to help. She knows when you are in a mood to go through your behaviours and get to know yourself better, and when you need to vent a little bit before getting to work on yourself. She brings real insight and works with me, guiding me to understand where I need to improve and where I should be more compassionate with myself. I saw a male therapist here a while ago. He was condescending, talked over me and inserted his personal beliefs into my situation, he kept telling what he would do had 3 sessions I would not bother going back it’s taken me a while to post my review as I’ve been working with another therapist who has helped me immensely.

I have had some profound shifts working with Janice Fittell. I have had lots of counseling over the years but none as effective or as high quality as Janice. Can honestly say that it's changed my life, the EMDR the brilliant way Janice just gets where I am at and what I need. The wonderful staff on the front counter are so kind and accomodating.
