Very poor experience trying to get a Technical Service Bulletin repair job sorted. Extremely poor communication over a 4-month period and eventually fobbed off as they're handing in their Peugeot license at the end of September. Won't be recommending Brisbane City Automotive to anyone looking to purchase a brand they sell.
Got a good deal on a hail damaged Peugeot 208 - we're new to Australia, but apparently still gravitate to quality European cars, with service and friendliness to match. Thanks to Aneta and Leighton for getting us up to speed with everything that needs arranging when selecting and buying a car. Edit: they are happy to sell you a car, and Peugeot is a fine brand. Seems like they're eager to sell, but not to help when issues arise! Plenty of 5-star reviews about Brisbane City Automotive's sales processes however lots of poor reviews about the service and here's another one to add to the list. Took my Peugeot in to be assessed for a creaking door back in late April and they confirmed it was a manufacturing fault which has a technical service bulletin to rectify and was advised a warranty claim would be made to Peugeot. I had a great experience at this dealership, they really did bend over backwards to help me find the perfect car. McKinley was very knowledgeable and worked hard to ensure I was able to make the most of the great deal that was going at the time.
I took my Peugeot Expert to this dealership on June 10th for routine service, warranty repairs, and to address a rattling noise from the pillar and some cracking paint. They assured me the warranty work would be completed once the necessary parts arrived and promised to notify me. Weeks passed without any update, so I called on July 8th and was told Brendan would get back to me. He didn't. I followed up again on July 15th and was once more promised a callback that never came.
