Will start off on the high notes. Briq has a very nice rooftop area, great for dining and/or drinks. There is soft string lighting as well as a candle design on the wall, all of which leads to a nice ambience in the late afternoon/evening hours. They describe their own menu as a collection of "comfort food", don't know about you but I do not consider a sea scallop crudo as comfort food but to each their own. The restaurant is very nice, and we enjoyed sitting on the patio and people-watching during our meal. The food was hit and miss, some of it was delicious, some of it was bland.
I love coming to Briq they have the best food and super swaqy atomsphere the Bartender Zack is super cool tell him he looks like James Franco There are some amazing lobster mash that is a little pricey but tasty good place to start a nightly romp in NHV.
Briq was a huge disappointment. We made an early reservation to beat the crowds during restaurant week and were completely underwhelmed by this place. It was cold and we were the only table for the waitress to focus on, but even that wasn't enough. We asked for gluten-free options and found the waitress to be overly confident and wildly incorrect, all while seemingly unwilling or blatantly lying about checking with the chef, because I was served broccoli in gluten containing sauce, and ice cream with a cone!
