Please read all of her reviews before making an appointment with this provider. It was the worst medical experience I have had. Just as others have explained she was rude and unprofessional. Shockingly bad treatment. RUN from this one. I wish I had googled her first.

Dr.Brines is super professional. On my first appt years ago, she met me in her office first. I assume this was so we are meeting on “equal”terms, not straddled on the table. She tends to be matter of fact about the actual exam - maybe this approach isn’t great for a girl on a first time visit, as there’s not a lot of “here is what I’m going to do next" , which truthfully I’d rather not know (You’re going to put your finger WHERE?!). I had an upsetting experience with this physician. She is my mother's OGYN and delivered me, so I didn't hesitate to make an appointment for my first gynecological visit. I really wished I had googled her first. My experience was similar to that of the reviews that I've read. Everything seemed to be going fine at the appointment. I cannot tell you how uncomfortable this supposed "professional" was. This was the first time that I saw her, and she entered the room after reviewing my chart extremely confrontationally. She asked me if I cared about myself and I replied that I did. She then asked me if I drive with my seatbelt on. I explained that I do. She then asked if I drive with my eyes closed.
