My wife and I recently visited Brine & Stave in Hamilton, NY, and it exceeded our expectations. We stopped in for their oyster happy hour and were impressed by the freshness and quality of the oysters. Absolutely incredible food. The flavors are fresh and unlike anything else around. It reminds me of the small neighborhood sushi bars I loved in NYC. Definitely worth a visit. Every bite was worth every penny.
Delish! I had the tartare and Maine oysters. Both were excellent.
Excellent service. We had no idea how to order or eat oysters, but they taught us all about them and made recommendations on what to get. The oysters, chowder and broth bowl were all exceptional. The beer and cider selection was wide enough to please most any pallette. The vibe is immaculate and it's a lovely environment to chill.
Atmosphere and service were impeccable. Food needs big improvements. The oysters came out luke warm - but for the most part still tasted good. I’ve had a lot of oysters and I’ve only ever seen them come out over ice - but not here. I actually ate a bad oyster and it happened so fast I didn’t have time to stop it.
