My wife and I recently visited Brine & Stave in Hamilton, NY, and it exceeded our expectations. We stopped in for their oyster happy hour and were impressed by the freshness and quality of the oysters. It’s hard to find a true raw bar experience in Central New York, and Brine & Stave delivers with expertly sourced seafood and a welcoming. Absolutely incredible food. The flavors are fresh and unlike anything else around. It reminds me of the small neighborhood sushi bars I loved in NYC. Definitely worth a visit. Every bite was worth every penny.

Delish! I had the tartare and Maine oysters. Both were excellent.

Excellent service. We had no idea how to order or eat oysters, but they taught us all about them and made recommendations on what to get. The oysters, chowder and broth bowl were all exceptional. The beer and cider selection was wide enough to please most any pallette. The vibe is immaculate and it's a lovely environment to chill.

I should’ve smelled each one before eating them - but I’ve never had to. The shucking was half assed. Soooooo many chunks of shell. Then our mains - my husband ordered the sea bream - it was light, fresh and beautif... read more
