DO NOT take your pet and family member here!! Extremely, extremely disappointing and heart breaking experience. We called the vet on Saturday 31st Jan ‘26 to get some advice as our 7 year old German shepherd didn’t look or act well. We explained ALL the symptoms he was having and they said as long as he’s eating & drinking then he’s fine however we made an appointment that same day for Monday 2nd Feb cause we still wanted to get him checked out even though this was not advised to us. Late last year my toy poodle puppy was extremely unwell with an anaphylactic reaction to a bee sting. He was instantly limp and his gums turned grey. Out normal vet had closed so we looked at local clinics that were still open. We rushed him to this vet clinic arriving 15 minutes before their closing time. The vet would not even look at our dog leaving a vet nurse check him. She told us he looked fine and to bring him back in the morning if we remained concerned. I have had nothing but great experiences here. The entire team is wonderful - vet nurses, admin and vets. My dogs see Dr Shalinie and have also seen Dr Grace. They were both kind and empathetic, as well as providing practical and realistic solutions.
I've been a loyal client of Brimbank vet for 20 years. Whilst the care was always satisfactory, I always found their fees very high. I tolerated that until today. After being charged $233 for a consultation just 2 weeks ago, I called requesting a phone conversation with the treating vet, following continued symptoms with my dog.
