If I could give this place 0 stars then I would. Only 15 mins for a visit? My sisters drove 2 hours away to see my mom. Like really? You get longer visits in jail. They banned me from going to see my mom because I threatened to break her out of there. Do you really think saying that I’m not allowed to visit my mom will stop me from showing up on your property? I ran over my own cousin who is my best friend and my ex husband with my car. Like come on now. My sister should’ve slapped y’all while she was there.

Left with very little option and feelings of desperation I checked my father in this facility. My father walked in here a healthy manic 80 year old and is discharging in a wheelchair drooling on himself. He was in an acute psychosis state. The original NP either lacks intellect or she is so advanced in her career she doesn't give a hoot about her patients. She completely changed his medication, WITHOUT TAPERING, which threw him into an even grander state of mania. During my fathers stay that idiot NP left the facility and th... read more

If there were an option for zero stars , that's what they would receive. My father in law was there for treatment related to Alzheimers. Family wasn't allowed to visit until after 2 weeks. A long time for an elderly patient with Alzheimers. Very poor communication. He was then found unresponsive and with a cold core temperature by paramedics consequently on the day of transfer to another facility. He has been in Hospice care ever since. Please don't send your family here. I can't believe they haven't been shut down for abuse... read more

If you are left with no other option, use Brightwell as a last resort. First and foremost, the communication is subpar, at best. We were told prior to admission we would not be able to receive “treatment” information without POA. POA was obtained, then told, when calling to check on our loved one, that we needed an access code. No one mentioned this and multiple calls were then made to gain this code. When inquiring about medication dosages, medication changes, sleeping habits, dietary habits and general care, we were met wi... read more

I would not recommend this facility for treatment, especially dementia. My husband was sent here from a short hospital stay, and after 14 days, was in a significantly worse state than he had been previously at home. After bringing him back home, and nearly two weeks, he is nearly back to how he was a month ago. Not drugged, not nearly incontinent, eating well and cooperating with his home care. Again, do not send your loved ones there.
