BrightView Sayville caused immense and unnecessary suffering — not only for their resident, but for the family who loved her. A untreated UTI and a wrongly prescribed antibiotic led to two separate hospitalizations for sepsis and ultimately forced an early transition to hospice. I would give zero stars if that were an option. BrightView Sayville failed my aunt at every possible level—medically, ethically, and humanly. After developing a UTI that went untreated, the physician covering BrightView prescribed the wrong antibiotic. This catastrophic error snowballed into two separate week-long hospitalizations for sepsis, ultimately becoming the driving force behind her transition to hospice care.
