Made my appointment 3 weeks ago. I was informed at today's appointment that the practice was closing permanently the next day. Apparently I have 2 days to get a.signed form requesting my records for a new GP which isn't enough time as I am still in shock. Can't believe a long time patient could be treated like thus.
Helped to arrange an urgent appointment when Dr Maiden was booked out. This was really appreciated. Dr Maiden is a friendly , helpful and knowledgable GP whom I hope to continue seeing. Polite, pleasant front desk staff.
The Brighton Medical Centre provides an excellent service to it's patients. My doctor is an extremely capable practitioner, with a great personal manner, who clearly explains medical issues and is very supportive. The Medical Centre's support staff are also efficient & helpful to the patients, facilitating their patients' visits to the doctor.
I have been to Brighton medical Centre quite a few times. I had a phone consultation with one of the doctors where he put the wrong name on the referral. I then called up a few months later and asked for the referral to be changed to the correct name full. The doctor no longer worked there so I had to speak to another doctor. When I spoke to the reception staff they said it could be bulk build but it's up to the doctor. Your practice has always been held in high regard by the Cumming Family. We were very disappointed that we had to find alternative medical practices due to our inability to pay at yours. We depend heavily on Bulk Billing unfortunately. However my wife’s visit this morning(Tue 24Feb 2025) was very pleasant due to the professional and courteous attention given. I’ll make some Enquiries with a view to re visiting your practice some time In the future.
