RecommendedI have 2 artificial knees and 2 artificial hips. The hips have never given me a problem but the knees have had an extreme amount of adhesions on them making them too painful to bend. My one knee was done in 2001 and I managed to break most of it free 7 years later to achieve a 103 degree bend. Not the best but allows for most activities. My other knee was done 10 years later and had to have an adjustment 1 year after that. I could not get more than 85 degrees out of it even though I had 2 manipulations under anesthesia.
