Am sharing my experience so others avoid the same mistakes I made. When they tell you it was previously leased, ask who too, it might be an ex rental. Check the car prior to finalizing purchase and before it might rain. After purchase looked over car but by this time it was raining so didn't see some marks that I would have questioned, and one paint chip that I had noticed previously was no longer visible. Was looking at buying an Outlander Aspire AWD that was published on Carsales for $44990. When the salesperson called he was unsure of the vehicle so I had to send him the link. Turns out it was a “third party” error and should have been $47990. Enquired regarding a second car, a LS 2WD for $43990.
