I can look back and genuinely say that Brighton as a whole was one of the biggest blessings in my life. Their campus is such a genius approach. They truly do create a community with their different levels of treatment. You have your residential treatment center, IOP and sober living all on the same campus, which makes the transition from one to another so easy on so many different levels. There are a lot of treatment centers out there that are only focused on the "thank you for your money, good luck" philosophy. Brighton Community Center is a concept that is centered around the client's success. They built in a coffee shop, gym, computer lab, tv room and other amenities that are available to all current and former clients that go to Brighton Recovery. I moved into BCC sober living in March of 2021 after completing inpatient treatment. I was immediately surprised by the community element to it and felt very welcome and safe. Sometimes staff in the treatment world can be pretty robotic, but everyone treated the residents like human beings. The balance between staff building rapport and also setting/holding clear boundaries really took my recovery to the next level.
