I brought my 8 year old Border Collie in to Brighton Animal Clinic on 5/29/26 because of excessive thirst and panting after her heat cycle ended, she was examined by Dr Laurie Osborne who dismissed my concerns saying her drinking 1 gallon of water per day (my dog probably consumed 1/4 of that before this) was not unusual. I was sent home, no bloodwork on my dog taken. My dog ultimately developed Cataracts and was brought back in on 9/10/26.
