I have been using Dr. Brightman for several years. She is always patient - taking the time to answer any and all of my questions, - incredibly thorough - making certain she covers all areas that are part of contributing to my good health and well being, and compassionate - she never rushes through my appointment, or makes me feel she is 'pushing me out the door.' Dr. Brightman has been my obgyn for over two decades. She is fabulous - extremely thorough, takes a great deal of time discussing all my concerns and worries about my health so that I don't have to. Yes- she doesn't take insurance but when you're that good in a place like NYC it is understandable. She is worth it!

I've been a patient for a long, long time. I started with Dr. Goldstein. She retired and I moved to Dr. Brightman. I've become increasingly disappointed with her. She doesn't give an annual papsmear anymore (every two years now), but she doesn't even follow this protocol. Well into my second year, she failed to perform a papsmear. And they don't accept insurance. I asked for my $400 back (because what did I pay for, really?), but she ignored me.
