I may have a horrific disease but this store is helping me feel better about myself. The women at The Brighter Side are so caring and compassionate that I felt I was the only person in the world at the time. They helped me choose a wig and offer the service of having it fit to my head when the time comes. I've taken my mother to this store on several ocassions and it has always been pleasant. There did used to be a pushy lady there who once talked my mother into a smaller bra and we had to exchange it. However, they mailed it to us on their dime. As far as charges go, it seems to depend on insurance. We switched companies and now she's fully covered. There is a Latina who comes in part-time who has the best bed-side manner ever!

I want to apologize to the women I sent to this place..I didn't know this store was so mean to people, and I am sorry. I have heard back from 3 women I sent there currently diagnosed with cancer, that this store is a place to avoid. Three separate individuals, suffering and sick, and a mirror story. Rude, pushy, you have to payto be fitted, the service afterward is terrible. Again, I am sorry....

If I could rate the experience my wife had there as a ZERO, I would. She is undergoing chemotherapy , and was there for her second visit, with the intent of buying at least two wigs that day. The clerk was just plain rude. My wife is kind and non-confrontational, and I assure you, that was the LAST thing she needed from someone at a place intended for those in need of a little more love and patience than most retail stores. .We have since been told that many others had receved the same treatment from there. . I am a cancer patient and I purchased my wig from here. I had the worst experience ever! I was not shown either the styles or colors properly. On top of it they did not do a thing to find out about my insurace coverage ( I had to sort everything for them) I think they know very well that u're in need and YES.. on top of this be ready to pay $35 for consultaion and 30% of the wig cost out of your pocket (even if your insurance covers 100% amount). Note you dont need o pay this amount elsewhere if you're 100% covered!
