I've was originally a Solon tenant and they were pretty good as landlords but Brighter places are not fit for purpose! To top previous maintenance issues I've had in my property, my garden fence blew down in the last storm and they say it's my responsibility to sort it! When is it down to the tenant to replace garden fences? From reading the other reviews I have a total lack of confidence in Brighter Places.

To Brighter Places tenants: Class Action anyone? Landlords must ensure that properties they rent out are FIT FOR HUMAN HABITATION. The main source of this duty is section 9A of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 which was inserted by the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018. A property might be unfit because of: disrepair etc

"Nightmare places" , is the right name for them. They Ignoring me from more than 6 months. Bought a new build flat from them , the flat is with lot's of problems , boiler is not working , the floor is missing , windows hences missing , bathroom floor is with some holes , the keys for waste store not working, nothing done properly very bad quality of building. So many times contacted them and they just don't care for anything else than taking the money. Stay away from them if you don't want your life to be a nightmare!
