We had a wonderful experience with Bright Leaf Landscaping! We wanted some native evergreens planted in our backyard for screening and Leslie, the designer, recommended beautiful plants for us and did a thoughtful design of our yard. ** Update 10 months later: I thought I'd add new pictures now that Bright Leaf has also installed Zoysia grass for me to complete my landscaping. I couldn't be any happier with the new lawn and overall look! Grass is shown about 6 weeks after sod was placed. I absolutely love my new yard. I'm so happy I found Bright Leaf on Google. They were the ones who responded the fastest, created a beautiful and affordable proposal for me, and were able to start just a few weeks after that, taking about 3-4 days for an entire backyard r... read more

Bright Leaf Landscaping is a family owned business. I had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan and his family at Shaw's Karate. Salt of the earth kind of guy. We recently moved to Durham, and loved the backyard - except for the area near the popup drain, where water flows when it rains, and mud and dirt were the major features in the hardpan clay under the shade of the trees. Jonathan set us up with a decorative river rock in the area downstream of the popup drain, mulch in the area where grass won't grow. He also talked us out ... read more
