Excellent egress window kit. No one else is offering a steel frame kit like Bright Idea Egress. Simple installation and excellent parts kit that includes all the drill bits needed for installation. Very happy with their product and customer service. I will definitely order from them again for my next egress window project.
We installed this in a block foundation and it worked great. Sized true with an easy install. The window itself swings great and is easy to open. I will be recommending this window to others.
I was very pleased with every part of this interaction. Bright Ideas was great to work with and promptly (and safely) got the window from Colorado to East TN (I chose to pick up at my local FedEx terminal to save some fees). The window kit was packaged great. Note: this is a heavy and heavy duty set-up here. Highly recommended a two-person lift. The entire process from start to finish was just as the instructions stated. This is the best project update for older homes that need to bring their basement up to code and make it safer. Added 1140 sq. ft. and a full bath and bedroom to the value of our house with just a bigger window!
