I do appreciate the ER staff at the Brigham. They are always nice, patient, and responsive. But I have been here since midnight with my son who has a fracture and radiology still hasn't read his CT scan. I just learned from a doctor that they updated their systems last night for several hours and read no scans in that time. They told no one they were doing this including the ER staff. They are now starting to read scans but are so backed up who knows when we will get out of here. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
Terrible service. The secretary is awful, foul mouthed, & wildly unprofessional. She thinks it’s ok to scream and belittle pregnant women. The manager covers up her terrible & disgusting behavior, knowing full well it is occurring.
God they are efficient. I arrived at 6PM parked was in the office at 615 on the machine table by 630 as scheduled done and out by 640. Back on the road home right after.... I wish my parking wasn't $9 for 40 mins hahahah. BUT ill take the win for how fast i was in and out.
I had a Lymphoscintigraphy which can take anywhere from 2-6 hours. The initial part of the test can also be very uncomfortable. I was treated wonderfully throughout the entire procedure, and although I ended up being there over 5 hours, everything went smoothly and they were incredibly thorough in making sure they had all the images they needed and made sure that my doctor had the full report within an hour of completing my test. Highly recommend!
