I just spent the past 12 hours at the BW emergency department and I have nothing but rave reviews! Our nurse was Ari and he was amazing! Very attentive and such an awesome beside manner. He made my 22 year old daughter feel comfortable every step of the way…and even made sure I had everything I needed as well. Thank you to all of the staff at BW, especially Ari!
Terrible experience here. Only triage was smooth sailing. When in my ER room I had to yell out for help to go to the bathroom and get water and food as call button kept dropping, they couldn’t find the remote for my tv and I felt alone and cold most of the time. The nurses who came in few times were nice but not available consistently. It was a bit of CHAOS. I came to get drains taken out and they refused to help me. A couple years ago I went here for anaphylaxis. I have a previous history of anaphylaxis at this same hospital, requiring multiple IM epi and admission to a floor, so they know I do in fact have a history of severe anaphylaxis. I showed them the hives. I told them it was hard to breathe, even though my SpO2 was >94%. This time they gave me an IM Ativan without telling me (I assumed it was epi).
