* The staff before you see the doctor is a nightmare. I've never seen so many miserable people in one room. They hang up on you, keep you on hold forever, or don't answer the phone at all. Dr. Smith is always out, I can't get an appointment when I need one and she is clueless as to the staff's ineptness. Infectious Disease Department at BWH is superb! I have gone multiple times to Brigham & Women's Infectious Disease department, which is spectacular.

Infectious Disease Department at BWH is superb! I have gone multiple times to Brigham & Women's Infectious Disease department, which is spectacular. I have also seen a number of the different specialists there. My first few times there, I couldn't believe that I was actually in a hospital, the way that all the staff, assistants, AND physicians treated me. Like a complete equal human being!
