Terrible doctor. Probably fine for a small town with small health issues but for someone who actually needs good medical care go elsewhere. Very nice staff, but the doctor is extremely dismissive and needs to go back to medical school. I’ll drive an hour to Richmond for better and up to date medical care.
Dr Briggs, Nurse Helen and office assistant, Cathy are an incredible team. Each interaction is always pleasant and effective. I have been a patient there for many years and always have great care.
So I was strangled Sunday night and while this doctor did not thoroughly examine my neck or throat, nor did he even ask the details of the assault, HE DID however make time to remind me to lose weight… multiple times. I have literally lost 5 pounds since I was assaulted. When I suggested scans he laughed at me and acted like it was ridiculous, like strangulation isn’t a serious thing that you can die from weeks later without proper examination.. my neck is malformed and swollen and he made absolutely no note of this.
