I have Briggs Paving pave my driveway five years ago. I was very impressed with them. They did an excellent job. We had issues. But Dave Briggs was very customer focused. And we working the issues out to my satisfaction. That is why when it came time to sealing my driveway I went directly to Briggs. I did not consider anyone else. Based on my previous experience. Rude office telephone and "support" people, crass business people. Won't do business with them, suggest you don't either. They gave overpriced estimate for job everyone else bid at half the price. Briggs was a great company at one time, run by Mr. Briggs. Then daughter Jenna started going out giving estimates and trying to run the show, office personnel changed, and the down-hill journey began for this company like so many 2nd generation businesses undergo. Company has gone down hill. One hand doesn't know what the hand is doing. If you like the run around call them.. otherwise avoid them like the plague. The Hudson Valley has other reliable contractors. Very unprofessional and never return calls.
Top Quality work. Worth the price 100%. Very Pleased with my new driveway.
Absolutely disappointed. Very rude and very unprofessional . My driveway was done very poorly lasted 3 years and now has cracked and lifted in many spots. Paved over dirt they never put a base down . They charged me a lot and did very little. Would never recommend them for anything.
Best paving company in dutchess county. I would highly recommend this paving company to others. They pave driveways like highways.
Briggs had to remove cement in our garage due to tree roots. On many occasions we reminded them that we wanted the concrete replaced with concrete not blacktop. They deceived us by putting blacktop in our garage and painting it gray so it would look like cement so I would pay them the balance. Mr. Briggs outright lied to us and said he would take care of the problem..he did with paint to disguise the inferior job.. we are senior citizens and not have to go to small claims court....a very dishonest company
